Social Development

Juconi provides opportunities for both children and parents to interact with their peers by sharing and discussing their experiences and ideas. This forum is particularly useful in developing self-esteem and helps families to integrate, participate and cooperate positively. By including other community children and adults in these activities, highly excluded children become fully participating members of their communities.

Through the support of our volunteers, we also offer a number of recreational activities such as camping trips, art workshops, dance classes and sporting events. These activities allow both children and their parents to develop co-operation and teamwork.
