In January 2000, Juconi established a training centre in response to the interest that our work had generated among other organisations working with similar populations.

The main objective was to share knowledge and experience of Juconi's most effective practices. Each year the centre trains around 200 social workers, teachers and educational service providers from both the government and civil society.

The centre’s capacity-building workshops are based on the fieldwork techniques and experiences which have been most effective within Juconi’s programme. Through sharing effective practice Juconi helps to strengthen other Non- Governmental Organisations’ (NGOs) efficiency, and provides targeted support for a wide range of organisations – from small scale grassroots agencies to large international agencies. Juconi has provided training services for organisations working in Afghanistan, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Peru and South Africa.
