From Guayaquil Centre By Taxi - The simplest way to get to Juconi from Guayaquil centre is by taking a taxi. However you still need to give directions. It should cost about $3 which you need to check before you start. Fundacion Juconi is on Ave Carlos Julio Arosemena, 2.5Km from Guayaquil center. From the city centre follow the main Ave. 9 de Octubre. This becomes Ave Carlos Julio Arosemena after crossing a river near the new Malecón de Salado. After another kilometre you will see the black glass 'Orquifa' building on the left followed by the Volkswagen garage – Juconi is on the road in between these two buildings. The road you are on becomes a fly-over ('Las Monjes') at this point. Being on the wrong side of the dual carriageway (and on a bridge) you need to go past the Juconi turning and make a U-Turn under the next bridge.

After turning round take the right hand slip road. Turn right on the small side road after the Volkswagen showroom before the black 'Orquifa' building. Halfway up the hill on the left is Juconi. It is on the 1st floor up some stairs above another business.

By Bus - For the more adventurous the cheaper option is the bus. From Guayaquil centre several buses can be used. They have a single fare of 25 cents however far you go.

The buses take different routes through the centre but converge when crossing the river. About 1.5Km after the river look out for a black glass 'Orquifa' building and Volkswagen garage on the left. When you see these get off the bus.

The safest way to cross the road is to walk back and cross under the bridge. The black glass 'Orquifa' building should be in front of you. Take the side road to the right of this building. Halfway up the hill on the left is Juconi. It is on the 1st floor up some stairs above another business.

From the Airport or Bus Terminal

There are no direct buses to Juconi from the airport or Bus Terminal, it is therefore best to get a taxi. Buses to the city centre are Nos. 2, 57-76 & 96.

By Taxi - You need to give the driver directions to Juconi. Firstly get taken to the shopping centre 'Alban Borja' on Ave. Carlos Julio Arosemena in the district of Miraflores.

Juconi is on the opposite side of the Ave. Carlos Julio Arosemena diagonally to the left. It is on a small side road which lies between the black glass 'Orquifa' building and a Volkswagen garage. Halfway up the side road on the left is Juconi. It is on the 1st floor up some stairs above another business.
